I also perform discovery and requirements documentation for Customer Interaction Center (CIC) deployments. For the kind of work I do you probably don't need a full time resource, so why not hire a part-time contractor who happens to be a kick-ass process architect and consultant?
I've also been working with CaaS, assisting a longtime Fortune 500 customer doing discovery work and up front requirements call flow and documentation, since September 2010.
